Rejection saves you time, money, and energy.
It makes our life easier.
Okay, let me explain:
Whether it’s in business, relationships, or any other matter, rejection helps us get closer to our goals.
It cuts down the noise and gets straight to the signal.
There is an infinite number of ways we can spend our time, energy, and effort in this life.
8 billion people exist on this Earth. You could have a friendship or relationship with each one of them. So getting rejected by one cuts that number down to 7.999999 billion.
That reduces the amount of people you can interact with, thus reducing the potential for wasted energy, effort, time, or resources.
Rejection shows us where the dead opportunities are, allowing us to redirect attention to more fruitful endeavors.
Ultimately, rejection saves you time and energy. And helps you redirect your attention toward the goal you're trying to achieve.
Rejection is good. It's sorta like your friend who cuts through the bullshit and tells you not what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. I like that friend. They're cool.
Many of us fear rejection, whether it be
-Asking our boss for a raise
-Asking that person on a date
-Sending our first cold email.
But here’s the truth.
Rejection cuts down on the time we waste on things that don’t advance us toward our goals.
It redirects our resources and attention from a dead opportunity to a potentially fruitful one.
Rejection saves us time, money, and energy.
Rejection is our friend.
Our best friend.
